Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas everyone! My christmas was wonderful, I am so thankful for my family and all the love that they provide, I am rich with endless love and abundance.
Today, we decided to be a little spontaneous this year and take a quick trip to Multnomah Falls - all the years that I have lived in Oregon I had never been so we thought it was a perfect time to go and it was beautiful. Now, we are ending our christmas with a gorgeous prime rib and baked vegetables tossed in fresh herbs, there truly is no better memories than the ones created with your family.
I am also very thankful for my new Arctic coat from columbia! I will never be cold again! lol
Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays!
Every year, my grandparents throw a annual christmas party for all of the grandchildren. Every year, they hire a santa to come to the house to hand out gifts and sit on his lap, and even though I am the eldest grandchild I am still obligated to follow the routine and tell him what I want for christmas. So when my turn came around to tell him what I would like, I really wanted to tell him that I would love for my college tuition to be paid for but I figured that would be asking a little much out of the nice gentleman...so instead I asked for a kitchen aid mixer, preferably red! It was fantastic and the kids got a kick out of it.
The night before our christmas gathering I made some goodies that I thought were fitting for the event: Toffee Bars and Peppermint Bark!
here is the recipe Thank you Paula Deen!
I used the recipe out of my betty crocker cookbook to make these scrumptious bars.

Bruschetta
Lately, I have been craving bruschetta but haven't had the time to put it together, so this evening I made it a point to make it and it was quite scrumptious. I seriously cannot stop watching the Food Network, I think I might be a little obsessed. Next weekend, after this week of endless finals, my best friend and I are devoting one entire day to baking. We found some amazing recipes that involve, white and dark chocolate, toffee, hazelnuts, truffles, caramel, and graham bars. Of course it's not all for us, we would suffer from a massive sugar load if that were the case. Instead, we thought it would be a good idea to make treats for our family members for christmas. I am going to pick up small bags and festive ribbon to put the yummy gifts in, nothing says I love you or Merry Christmas like homemade goods.
Here is the recipe I used for my bruschetta - super easy!

Thanksgiving was such a delight and I spent it with the most amazing people. I cooked for the first time and I discovered that I actually like it! With my new hidden talent, I went out and bought myself a cookbook which has been my bible the past three nights. Other than that I have been getting ready for the holiday season, you bet your bottom dollar that I demanded the christmas tree be put out the day after thanksgiving, and it sure was. Yesterday my family and I put the christmas lights up and I spent the evening wrapping presents - I love Christmas! Does anyone have any scrumptious recipes they would like to share?
P.s. I am in love with my minimarket wedges and I was ecstatic when I discovered that solestruck is here in Portland, I almost died of happiness, not even kidding. love.love.love

Photo Project - KISS MANIA
I know I have been lacking in my posts but I have been overwhelmed with finishing all my projects before the term is over. I wanted to share one project I have been working on. Here are just a couple samples of the shoot. It was such a blast, especially wearing all the wigs! My photo editing skills are somewhat improving lol.

umbrella
My brother and I have way too much fun.
I have always wanted a bubble umbrella and when I spotted this one at Urban Outfitters it didn't take much convincing to buy it.
So long sunshine, it is rain fall from here on out followed by endless amounts of layers, ohhh Oregon how I love you.

Fall is my favorite
This tree is right outside my house, I couldn't resist taking pictures.
Happy Halloween!
I love Fall in Oregon, the trees are so lovely. I had the most amazing birthday yesterday, I have a amazing family and I am so thankful for how fortunate I am. My new Deena&Ozzy purse came in handy last night while the rest of my body was too occupied dancing everywhere lol. It is really ingenious! It's a clutch and with the detachable strap it turns into a side bag - I love it! I also adore my new sweater I found at Sak's, the tassels are my fav, i love the way it moves and dances while I walk.
Tonight all my girlfriends are taking me out to celebrate my 21st so I will definitely be using my new bag again haha. Cheers!
